Ditton invests in technologies that ensure full control of all steps in the production process, from manufacturing to natural finishing with ecologically friendly products.

Ditton Wood works with:

    • Four dryers, guaranteeing a quality drying process
    • Two edgers for uniform cuts
    • Four trim saws for cutting various board lengths
    • Two moulding machines to plane for thickness or bevel for manufacturing different wood products
    • A matching machine to cut tongue and grooves for skew-notch assembling of two pieces of wood lengthwise
    • A belt sander for better application and penetration of finishing oils
    • An oiling line for flooring, mouldings, outdoor siding and patio wood, including two nozzles, an oven to accelerate drying and a
      polisher to refine the finish.

During a visit to Italy, Ditton Wood developed a unique process and technical expertise in the various applications of natural oils and drying. This method allows for the application of much more oil than competitors use. Ditton product colours are more vivid, their finishes richer, and their resistance stronger.
